A curated selection of small-group backcountry expeditions across the Arctic. Limited departures, carefully planned routes and experiences designed for riders seeking something rare.

Norway Expedition 2027

Expedition Overview

A three-day Arctic backcountry expedition across Northern Finland and Norway.

Designed for experienced riders who want long distances, changing terrain and access far beyond standard routes. This journey combines fast-paced riding, remote landscapes and rare moments deep in Arctic wilderness.

Route & Landscape

The route takes you from Finnish Lapland across the border into Norway, through wide tundra, reindeer herding areas and remote valleys.
As you move north, the landscape opens up and changes character, with long stretches of open terrain and untouched snowfields shaping the journey.

Depending on conditions and group preference, the second day offers two distinct directions.
One option leads toward the Norwegian coast and the Arctic Sea, with the option to include a whale watching excursion.

The alternative is a day spent with local reindeer herders, moving through herding areas by snowmobile and taking part in their daily rhythm. You may work with the animals, prepare food together over open fire and gain a rare insight into life in the Arctic backcountry.

Riding Style & Level

This expedition is an advanced trail ride designed for experienced riders.
The pace is fast but controlled, combining long-distance travel with selected off-trail sections where terrain awareness and riding technique matter.

Days are full and demanding, covering significant distances across changing Arctic landscapes. The focus is on maintaining flow, momentum and confident control throughout the long hours riding the Arctic.

Who this is for:

  • Riders with some previous snowmobile experience or background in motorsports is strongly recommended
  • Comfortable riding several hours per day
  • Able to handle changing conditions and long routes

Safety & Guidance

Every expedition is planned and led with safety as a fundamental part of the process.

All expeditions are guided by professional Arctic guides with extensive experience in remote terrain and demanding conditions. Routes are selected with intention, weather and snow conditions are actively assessed, and equipment is maintained to a disciplined standard.

Before each expedition, all participants take part in a structured safety briefing and riding orientation to establish clear procedures and expectations.

These elements operate in the background, allowing the focus to stay on riding, terrain and the experience itself.
